Bluetooth 3.0: Faster Than Wi-Fi Or USB

On 21 April 2009, Bluetooth official release bluetooh 3.o that claimed will be a new standard connection. The biggest improvement of this new version is the speed. This Bluetooh 3.0 able to transfer data up to 24 Mbps. According to Bluetooh SIG, bluetooh 3.0 more quickly because it bring 802.11 radio protocol, which essentially makes it easier to accept the protocol bluetooh wi-fi signal when transferring data in large size.

This Bluetooh 3.o features include unicast connectionless data that provide quick response and more battery energy saving.

Although there is no certainty there will be adoption bluetooth with UWB (Ultra Wide Band) for users and manufacturers. But Wimedia Alliance has provided specifications for UWB radio to bluetooh SIG and Wireless USB promoter group.
