Ubuntu 9.04 Has Been Released

There is a good news for Linux users, especially for distro Ubuntu. On 23 April, Ubuntu release a new version called Jaunty Jeckalope.

At this newest version, Ubuntu offers many advantages. One of the advantages offered was speed of booting time that less than 25 seconds. This 25 seconds this time calculated from choose menu on the grub loader till appears login menu.

While from side view, Ubuntu 9.04 now has a new login design. Also with the themes that comes with three kinds of new design options.

Support for network devices is also better. Now for those who usually connected to internet using Wi-Fi or 3G will ease migration from 3G to Wi-Fi, or vice versa.

From the applications that are included, Ubuntu 9:04've included software-software choice with newest version, such as OpenOffice 3.0 for office applications, Pidgin 2.5.5 for instant messenger, and Firefox 3.08 for the purpose of surfing internet.
